IVCM – Responding to the Corona Virus (COVID-19)

As we are witnessing a fast development and global spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the health and safety of our staff, our clients and partners and the communities we serve, remains our highest priority. As such we have taken action in the following areas to try, as best as possible, to minimize the spread of this virus.

STAFF TRAVEL

With immediate effect, all overseas staff travel, as well as local flights, have been cancelled for the next 3 months. We believe that this will help reduce the risk of infection to our staff and also to help minimize the risk of spread of the virus in our communities.

For personal staff travel, all staff will be required to enter into self-quarantine for 14 days upon their return.

REMOTE WORK

All IVCM Staff in the Dubai, Australia and Gibraltar offices will now work remotely. In our the UK office, 50% of Heritage Staff members will work from home for a period of two weeks, whilst the other 50% continue to work from the office and the following fortnight vice versa. These arrangements will ensure continuity of cover.

All staff members are adequately equipped to perform their daily tasks to the same level as they would working in the office. We believe this is a necessary step to reduce the risk of infection through public travel. All staff will work from home for an initial two-week period which will then be reassessed regarding the then local situation in each jurisdiction with COVID-19.

OFFICE VISITS/MEETINGS

During this period, our offices in Dubai, Australia and Gibraltar will be closed until further notice. Any required face to face meetings will be arranged virtually via Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business or Zoom meetings.

BUSINESS CONTINUITY

IVCM maintains business continuity and disaster recovery plans focusing both on preventing outage through redundancy of telecommunications, systems and business operations, and on rapid recovery strategies in the event of an availability or performance issue. Whenever situations occur that can have an impact on our clients, it is our focus to ensure that we take all appropriate measures to address the issue.

We will continue to monitor this outbreak closely and should matter change we will provide you with an update.

As with all our staff, we also encourage you to stay safe and do not underestimate the importance of good hygiene to reduce the risk and spread of this virus. This includes frequent washing of your hands and avoids touching your face and mouth.
